I have owned many types of earbuds over the years. These are by far the best, cheapest (occasionally found on woot for $10.00). Since I travel a lot I use them to block out screaming kids and the annoying person sitting next to you on a plane.
They come with three different sized rubber grommets to seal your the inside of your ear (so they won't slip off). they are very comfortable and well designed (my original pair lasted over a year)

I had these earphones for about 6 months before the channels failed, but since they have a lifetime warranty and the RMA process is pretty simple thus far, I'm not too unhappy. Perhaps this says something about construction quality, but given everything I'm still very happy with them. After years of uncomfortable earbuds or bulky, noisy over-ear headphones, it was a delight to find in-ear headphones that I could wear for 8 hours straight with no pain whatsoever... and wearing them on the plane really made things far more pleasant. Even in my silent house I can barely hear myself talk when the music is off. The fact that they reduce the volume needed to hear good music is also comforting - not only do people around me not hear my music, but I can hear it clearly on any airplane or public bus. And the sound quality is amazing - the bass is nice and strong (occasionally a bit too strong) and the treble good and bright. The thin plug that fits through my iPod case and the soft, flexible cable (no more annoying bends) just top off the deal. Sadly it looks like Maximo has stopped releasing these, but they're a great product!...

Dont buy. I bought these and they stopped working in a month. What irritates me is I took good care of them. The JBuds J3 are much nicer and come with a case....
