I found these eaebuds to be uncomfortable with a vert tinny sound. Not worth the $16.00 I paid for them....

I bought these earbuds because I wanted to be able to listen to my iPod while working out. The earbuds that came with the iPod are almost worthless to me: they're uncomfortable, they fall out, and I'm very distracted by the sound around me. I hoped that silicone tips would help, but I have to admit that I was not incredibly optimistic.

For me, these earbuds represent an enormous improvement. They're comfortable, they stay in, they block a lot of outside noise, and the sound quality is fine for my purposes. (I've been listening to NPR podcasts while running.) I'm not insensitive to sound quality by any means. I'll accept other reviewers' remarks that other brands offer superior quality, but in my opinion the sound of an MP3 is already so compromised that there isn't much point spending a lot of money on earbuds -- plus I'm listening in a noisy environment. (You can spend the money you saved on good headphones for your home stereo, where the difference matters a lot more.)

I got these earbuds on sale for about $5, and I'm quite happy with them. If you're frustrated with hard plastic earbuds that just don't cooperate with your ears, give these a try....

I need a pair of replacement head phones for my skull candy ones that died and found these pretty cheap. I hate spending more that 10 or 15 bucks on head phones since no matter how much they cost within 6 months (if I'm lucky) one of the buds stops working.I will have to see if these have a longer life then the skull candy or even Sony ones I've bought in the past. The sound is pretty good and they hold their own against the noise of NYC street and subway. They fit nicely and the cord seems pretty substantial. My only improvement would be to have a J connection instead of a Y but those seem to be few and far between....
