I like this case a lot. It fits my iphone 4 perfectly and protects it very good, it does however have a couple of issues.
The first one is that you HAVE to use this case with a back protector. Do not use it without it or you'll mess up your phone. The good thing is that ELAGO does include both front and back covers, which is great, the problem is some of us like to change between cases once in a while, so if you switch to a bumper, your phone's back will look horrible, with scratches all over. The other problem with this, is that most probably you'll need to buy more back protectors in the future. (Not a big deal, but worth stating).
Now, the big problem, which I still don't understad why ELAGO missed it, is the lack of an opening on the case for the noise cancelling mic located besides the headphones jack. This is one of the features I love the most on my iphone, the noise cancelling mic works excellent, and ELAGO covers it with this case, making the noise cancelling mic not work properly. This issue can also be fixed, fortunately, with a motor tool, like I did. I made a small "incision" starting at the headphones hole, and moving towards the center of the case, and it worked perfectly. You can barely see it is not factory original.
So I'm giving it 4 stars because this is a great case, makes my iphone look great, protects it magnificently, and includes both front and back protectors, but it does scratch the back (REQUIRES BACK PROTECTOR ALWAYS, AND WILL MAKE PHONE LOOK UGLY WITH A BUMPER), and has noise cancelling mic covered....

On the plus side: the case is rigid (I don't like the "gummy" ones) and *glossy*. I got the yellow and love the color. I lose sight of it less often, too, because it's not black, as my other cases have been. Another plus: I dropped the phone from a short distance but onto a hard floor and the iPhone was well protected; there was not a scratch on it, owing in part to the lip around the edge of the case.
Here's the frustration. Since I wanted to dock the phone for music & charging I spent considerable time looking for a case that would allow the bottom of the case to be removed. Can you see where this is going? Right. There was *no* way I could get the bottom off when I wanted to dock it. I tried any means I could think of, and enlisted help from others as well as specialty tools!--but there was NO way to get it off without risking damage to the iPhone.
Soooo....I'll be interested in hearing if anyone has figured out if there's a trick to this. There was nothing odd about how I put the case together, followed directions, no particular pressure. Don't know if I got an odd one, or not...but I don't want to send it back since I can't get it off!
Conclusion: Good looking, tough case, but needs a little work.

This is a great product however it seems a little pricey. I guess the company know that fact and thats why they throw in some screen protectors and a cloth. Other than that this is an excellent prouct and really gives your iPhone 4 a new look that you will love "If you like yellow of course"...
