I bought these elsewhere for the holidays as I needed a new set of headphones to use for listening to my CD's on my CD player and for watching videos on my PC. I had no idea who sentry was but I figured what the heck. Was I surprised. Not only do you get noise-cancelling you also have a volume control as well. Plus the ear cushions are actually comfortable--I have a large head and one ear always gives me a literal pain with most headsets but these sit nicely on the ears and they do fold. I was also surprised at the clarity of the sound. I was listening to a track with an acoustic guitar and kept hearing a sound that I finally realized were the singer's fingers sliding up and down the guitar strings! The voice quality on different tracks was good as well as the music itself. For the price I don't think you could do any better with some of the more well-known companies whose headsets I have owned. Also, if you just need a second pair to take out to the gym, jogging or traveling these are great. I definitely intend to get a second pair from Amazon.comSentry H0500 Noise Canceling Headphones...

i have this for nearly three weeks and there main advantages are their nice and solid look[not a cheap plastic] and fitting on the head[i have relatively big had].its volume control is nice and comfortable also.in the down side it is a bit weak on noise canceling compared to others i had but maybe it is only my sensitive ears.

its grip on my left ear is a bit weak and sometimes fall but it is not so bad.the sound is good...

I've had these for three months and they've already stopped working. Now the sound only comes out of one side. They are cheap feeling and don't go over my ears well. The noise canceling is OK, but not great. The volume adjuster is in the middle of the short chord, and slaps against your chest if you walk or run with it, making it a huge pain to deal with.

I got these after my Sony MDR NC7s stopped working, and now I'll be ordering another pair of the Sonys....
