It is unusual to find a product this good for the money. The noise reduction is excellent as is the sound quality, excellent tight bass. A pleasant surprise....

I previously had a pair of Creative noise-cancelling headphones which, after six years, needed to be replaced. Having used this product, I wish I still had the old pair. These headphones create an annoying white-noise sound, which is distinctly audible when they are used without plugging them in to an audio device. They do not fit very closely to my ears; the cushioning should have been a little thicker and more flexible to conform more closely. Also, I have to turn up the volume much higher on my Zune than I would like. With my old headphones, I could comfortably listen to music on an airplane at 7 or 8 (out of 20); with these, it ranged from 10 to 15, with the volume adjustment on the headphones at maximum.
In summary, this is not a very good set of headphones. I would recommend finding something a little more expensive and hopefully more intelligently designed....
