I stumbled across these little buds in a discount store and decided to give them a try. I was very impressed with the quality of sound for the price. The sound quality of these headphones is not as good as my $100 Etymotics, but it's surprisingly better than headphones in similar price ranges.
These buds advertise good bass, but they actually have excellent treble and mid-tones as well. I typically listen to movie scores, as well as a bit of alternative and classic rock, and they've done well in every situation I've used them in so far.
They aren't very flashy, and they definitely don't have some of the nicities of more expensive headphones, but I suppose that their goofy plastic housings and cheap looking (not cheap feeling though) cord are a good trade off for their great sound and price.
Overall, they will make a great second pair of headphones for when I don't want to worry about my more expensive ones, and I'd definitely recommend them to anyone....
