I purchased this item to use with the Motorola i670 phone and it works well, but I had read an information sheet that said it would work with the push-to-talk feature. It does not. You still have to use all of the controls on the phone itself, and the only function the unit gives you is mute. Not exactly what I wanted, but I can live with it. While driving, you should use the phone feature, not Nextel direct connect, or you will keep having to reach for your phone to talk....

I was surprised that this product only worked for the first two weeks and now people have a hard time hearing me on this headset.
Will check into my warranty....

Not what I thought it was, my fault. Thought it was only the small plug tip, but instead was a very specific one for and old Motorola phone only....
