The Sennheiser SH350 has clear sound, is comfortable to use, and just plain top quality. However, it does not come with any additional connector for use with a cordless telephone. I called the company, was extremely pleased with the help of their customer service department. It did take quite a while to get the additional extention, and the cost was more than I had anticipated. The end result is well worth the extra effort and added cost....

I am hard of hearing, but I work from home and most
of my work is done over the phone. All of the headsets
I have had in the past were monoaural (only for one ear)
and did not magnify the sound enough. This headset helps
from being binaural (for both ears), but also because
the volume is high enough to really help. In fact,
I have had to turn the volume down on my phone for
most conversations. It has truly chasnged my life!...

I've tried many cheaper headsets, the $30 kind that only have one ear
phone and that stop working after a year or so, and I also tried the SH 250,
but I returned those because I could not not get the volume low enough
(neither those nor the 350 has a volume control - you are at the mercy of
the volume control that your phone provides).
These don't sound as good a some of the cheaper headsets I've owned
(surprising since I thought a good headphone company would do better
than plantronics on the sound). These are a bit tinny to my ear.
But these are comfortable and seem to be of high quality. People say
I sound very clear and the noise canceling mic seems good. Only time
will tell if these will last more than the single year all the cheaper
headsets I've owned have lasted, but I hope so since that's mainly why
I've decided to go with this more expensive set this time.
The cord is a bit longer than I am use to - all I need is 3-4 feet, and
this must be closer to 6 feet between the adapter and headphone sections -
so I've had to leave a few extra feet of it in a tangle so it doesn't
get caught on things....
