Controlling Phone calls
Press the button once to take a call. During the phone conversation press button once to mute, press again to resume. Press button for 2 seconds to end the call.
Controlling the Music
While listening to music clicking the button once will pause/resume the music.
Toggle between music/phone
If you get a call while listening to music just press the button once to take the call, it will automatically pause the music, when done with the call press again and it will resume where it ended.

I've got no quarrels with this headset for making calls. The microphone works fine, and the ear buds are comfortable and sound fine. But, I was hoping to use these mostly for listening to music and podcasts, and for the occasional phone call. But the sound is fuzzy and mushy. I still use my old iPod earbuds when listening, and pop this in when making or taking a call. For the price, though, I really cannot complain. They'll make a fine backup headset (or one to leave in the car) if I do find a quality replacement.
Kudos on the included microfiber cloth. Its exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations....

Excellent ear buds! The price is spectacular. The quality and fit is great. I couldn't be happier. For the price, i didnt expect much but i was blown away. Awesome built in microphone too....

In some ways the sound quality is too good in these!! I don't have to be the one on the phone for the other person to hear me through the microphone, and from quite a distance too! In fact, my only negative comment is that there is no way to turn down the microphone! LOL! Still, I bought this piece hoping it would fit my kid's phones. We have 2007 and 2009 Sidekick LX's, and a Sidekick 2008. It is used as a handsfree device, fits all three devices, and works well....
