I'll start by mentioning that I bought these for four dollars at T.J. Max (clearance). Regularly they were $5.99. For these kind of prices it's hard to go wrong. So, for four dollars these things sound AWESOME! Even for fifteen dollars I think they are a good deal. Any more than that I would keep looking. I also have a pair of skull candy in ear headphones that I bought for $14.00. I love them and these ihips sound just as good.
Bottom Line -
Decent bass.
Great Mids.
Great Highs.
Great sound for some very cheap headphones....

Got the black to these at Marshalls for $5, I needed a pair for my Ipod touch 4G and took a gamble on these over some Koss and Philips earphones that were only marginally more expensive. When I first tried them, I was really disappointed the sound was detailed enough but bright and somewhat lacking in bass. However after burning them in they are a bit warmer and not so bright. I also find that the positioning in my ear canal makes a hell of a lot of difference. When pointed downwards in my ears the bass can go right through the roof. While typing this I'm currently listening to the Leftfield's Leftism with the EQ off volume 90% and I'm telling you they rock!!! My other headphones are Sennheiser HD485s, PX200s amd PMX60s hey for 5 bucks you can't go wrong................ I only hope I don't loose them!...
