this ear piece is a rip off..it does not stay in your ears. You make one move and it falls out. Its cheap and dont waste your money....

Don't buy these for permanent use! These should be used as alternatives or to replace lost OEM headphones.

Pros:

-Cheap backup headphones

-Mic works with Htc Evo

Cons:

-Sound pretty crappy. Muffled bass, hi's are terrible, mids are meh. Didn't expect them to be great lol.

-Left earbud pops out constantly. They just have an overall poor fit.

I just received these so I can only issue a preliminary review. I'll start with the fit. I have tiny ear canals and they immediately turn so when I wear common non-in ear buds the speaker aims towards my skin. These are designed with an angle so they actually aim into my ear canal. By using the smallest of the exchangable silicon inserts I can for the first time fit ear buds into my ear canal. I've had other in the ear, ear buds but they still didn't fit well and I had to force them to stay in place.

Now the sound. Some reviewers called them tinny and I suppose if you were raised to think music is thump, thump, thump. Then I can see the point. But if you wish to hear the singers voices and individual instruments, then you will like these.

Now for noise cancelling. Simply due to the excellent fit you can get and by the way they insert into your ear canal, they do greatly reduce external noise to the point where you will know someone is talking to you but you won't know what they said.

From others reviews about wires pulling loose. I can see that happening if you aren't careful about pulling the Jack out by firmly gripping the Jack. If you yank on the wire I can see where it will cause the wires to pull out. The black rubber around the wire coming out of the Jack is a simple strain relief device and doesn't grab the wire. I plan on applying clear silicon to spots where wires go into all parts of the device. Perhaps that will tie the wire more firmly to the strain relief rubber....

This is on of the most comfortable in-ear earphones for small ears. The sound is comparable to a pair of Bose I have.

I can actually do things with this phones without having to stop every few minutes to re-insert.

Pros. For the price the sound is more than expected. It has decent lows and highs.

Cons. For some reason does not work that well with other phones (I do not own an I-phone) but works great with any mp3 player.

The sound canceling is not active, but passive so it does not have the same noise cancelling as other powered earphones.

These are terrible earphones. The sound quality is substandard, on par with something you would get from a dollar store. They are uncomfortable to wear, have an awkward construction, and didn't cancel out any noise. I would definitely recommend getting the standard iPhone earbuds again before wasting your money on these....

The earphones are not of any quality. It has an echoing effect on the lower tones. A muted sound on vocals. Hard to hear with phone calls. No noising canceling effects, even passive. The standard iPhone earphones are much clearer and cover a much better range. Stick to your Apple earphones....

As a useful device, what I like most about this is its convenience, and the fact that you can carry it in your pocket. Advantages:1. It's truly hands free because you can both answer your calls and hang up on them without having to find the cell phone it's attached to.2. Not quite as breakable as other similar products I've used, but it will still come to pieces within 2-3 months no matter what you do.The three biggest drawbacks are:1. (And this one is the worst) If there's any background noise, or if you're outdoors and there's even the slightest puff of wind, then people will have a very difficult time hearing you, and you'll get a lot of annoyed requests to talk without it (to put it mildly)2. It does hurt the ear after a while, especially if you wear glasses of any kind, because of the added pressure.3. It slips out of your ear easily4. Despite advantage #2, above, it will eventually break if you're not very careful with it. I need to keep it attached while I'm rushing around, and sometimes I can't take the time to put it away as carefully as I should, and have to shove it into my pocket or untangle it from something. As a result, its life expectancy is usually under two months for people who use it like I do....

This earbud came with my 8290 and 3390. I thought I lost it, so I bought a Jabra earset (it was free after rebate after all..). So I found out where this one went - It was in my pocket and I washed it. I took it out, let it dry and it works perfectly! At first the mic didn't work but once I left it out for a few hours it was ok.That's what I call durable! You can rely on this to last a long time. I'm still using mine even after I washed it! Don't know if it's worth the 24.99 though. That sounds a bit expensive, but for this type of quality it's well worth it!The Jabra by the way, is collecting dust. The ear gels are really uncomfortable and it falls out of my ear. The on/off button is hard to press, you have to press it hard for it to hang up or use the voice dialing. I'm glad it came out to free after the rebates - Otherwise I would've been out $10 for somethign I would never use! The Nokia brand earbud beats Jabra hands down!...

Allright, so I bought this a couple months ago and I was not too pleased with the 'noise cancelling'part. I wanted some headphones that would drown out all the noise so that I could mow my lawn without having to listen at such a high volume. I was also surprised that there was an on/off switch to activate the 'noise cancelling' circuitry. I put them on, turned them on without having music playing and it all sounded exactly the same, no noise cancellation at all. Later when I turned them on WHILE listening to music, I realized all it did was make the sound louder. I came to realize its not 'noise cancelling' circuitry that got me excited about this product, but it was just circuitry that makes it louder. Other than that, these headphones are Okay. I don't really like the feel of them over long periods of time. I would honestly not recommend this to any of my friends or family....
