These are the best portable earphones I have found. They have very good sound quality, comparable to my best headphones, but better balanced from top to bottom, and much better than other earbuds of comparable price that I have tried. And I have bought about ten pairs in my search. My other pair that lists for around $100 are good too, but these have a much better bass response and are much more efficient to drive. The EB300 bass is realistic, not the undefined flubbing that characterizes most low end buds. The mids are beautiful, and the highs are well defined rather than fizzy. When I first put these in I felt like the music was just right, perfect in rhythm and texture. The memory foam plugs provide good isolation, and I find myself turning the volume down after a few minutes. Comfort is excellent. These buds are heavier than other cheap buds, but I don't feel the weight. I'll buy another pair as a backup, just in case these are discontinued....

I was impressed with the sound quality immediately and thought they'd be perfect. Unfortunately, I have small ears and they have large cushions that made it impossible for me to use without them falling out every minute or two while I lifted weights at the gym. If you have small ears...look for a different set of ear buds....

The foam earbuds are great at contouring to the inside of your ear and really cutting down outside noise. They sound great and are very reasonablly priced. The cord from the split to the earbuds is a little flimsy, so be careful. Overall a great buy. I bought a set for my brother as well. I highly recommend them. If Memorex made a set that included active noise cancelling as well, they would be ideal....
