Enjoy great sound from your iPhone in supreme comfort. These earhook headphones softly hug your ears for a secure fit. Also comes with integrated mic, volume and track control for your iPhone, iPod and iPad. Want to skip a track? Change the volume? Accept or reject a call? Record a voice memo? The remote features a sensitive mic as well as volume controls, call and skip functions. It can also trigger voice control. With this headset control is at your fingertips - no need to keep your iPhone or iPod accessible or to unlock the screen. The perfect, snug fit inside your ear stops unwanted background noise detracting from the pure pleasure of your favorite music. This means you still enjoy the headphones' superb sound quality at lower volume settings, and also benefit from a longer battery life. The rubber earhooks provide a non-slip grip for an extra secure and comfortable fit, ensuring that the headphones remain in place for hours of comfort. Ideal for active use. The soft flexi-grip material that the body of the headphone is sheathed in enhances its performance and extends its durability. It protects the cable connection from damage that otherwise could occur due to repeated bending of the headphone body from frequent contact with the user's fingertips when being put on and removed.

This review is from: Philips SHH8107/28 Headset with Mic

I have the iPhone 3G, and like the over-the-ear headphone form of this headset. In-ear aren't as secure. This item says it is compatible with the iPhone 3GS and later, and that is true for certain features of the in-line controller on the headset. On the iPhone 3G, only the start/stop button on the in-line controller works; the volume up/down buttons do not. There are probably also voice control features that would not work with the 3G, but then again, the 3G doesn't do those anyway. So now I have an over-the-ear headset that works with my cellphone, and an adapter to use it as a headset on my work PC for on-line calls....
