I've been using this for a couple weeks, after using the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset for over a year. The WEP500 is more comfortable, and much smaller, but there is no protection from background noise. I am told that when I'm in a quiet area, the sound is very clear and good, but if I'm on the highway or in a crowded place, the background noise can be bothersome to the person on the other end. The battery life also doesn't seem to be as good, but it's reasonable. Other than that, it's a great little headset, and I would recommend it.
One other note: The case you see in the picture is actually the charger for the headset as well, so you cannot use the headset while being charged.
EDIT: After using this for a while (or rather, not usually using it because it's annoying), I have another complaint. The "hangup" button is in a position where you hit it if you try to adjust the headset in your ear. I have hung up phone calls many times due to this - pretty major design flaw. I would definitely recommend the Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headset over this one....

Have used my headset for a little over a month now and the quality of sound, battery life and in ear fit are all exceptional. I have a smaller ear and have had some troubles with ear bud type systems (mostly not fitting fully into the ear). With this, I have no trouble. And even though it doesn't feel as if it's plunged deep into your ear it is still very affixed. I cna shake my head and turn it quickly while driving and not have any worries that it will fall out or come loose. The price also made this item extremely attractive, as well as it's small package and size. I understand the buttonology issues that some people have, but when you make a device this small there is really very little choice on where to attach the buttoms, so I would just say it's not that annoying to make me quit using it......

I did not buy my wep500 from this seller, but regardless, be forewarned: This headset may be compact, but it's horribly uncomfortable to wear for more than 30 minutes, falls out of my ear constantly & I find myself having to adjust it every few minutes. With the talk button at the top, that means that I end up redialing the last call I placed or received. Very annoying.
Despite the myriad earbuds included, not one of them fits me properly. My ears are a bit small, but I had far less trouble with the jawbone II. This headset definitely needs an earloop, clearly a design flaw.
Forget using it outside, the slightest breeze renders it impossible to use.
My husband has a jawbone II, which has far better sound, but is quickly developing battery life issues.
I think the next stop may be the Plantronics 925.
Save your money, even at 23 dollars, it's simply not worth it, unless you have the rare ear canal that can handle it & you don't need any noise cancellation....
