They aren't quite as amazingly comfortable as they claim to be, and putting them in your ears takes a little getting used to, but they are pretty nice. The color is great, and the little speaker with the pause button is handy. They seem quite sturdy, but contrary to what the previous reviewer said, they do come with a way to change the size. It's not a big difference, but they offer different nubs for different ear sizes. I do agree that the medium size is probably what works for most people, but the option exists. The sound is kind of interesting, because it's almost the opposite of many other earphones today, as it's made to let all the ambient noise still reach your ear. The quality seems relatively good, but they're not made for the person who wants to be able to block out all the noise in a busy place and listen to their music....

I've NEVER been able to get little headphones to stay in my ears, so I was a tad skeptical of the Medis headphones. Turns out I had no reason to be - they actually stay in my ears! I also love the pause switch on the cord which is super handy, especially if I've got my iPod stored somewhere out of reach while I'm listening to tunes. If you're looking for sound canceling headphones, these probably aren't for you, but if you're looking for small headphones that actually stay in your ears, I can't recommend them enough....

I got the Medis headphones for xmas '10 and have been happily enjoying them since, they fit great and offer good sound, but last week when I popped them in for my daily train ride the left earphone was cutting in and out. By manipulating the cord (at the end where you would plug it into the headphone jack) I can get the sound to return but this is not ideal as I do listen to them while walking as well. I am very dissappointed as I really liked these headphones but now I am second guessing the quality, as other reviewers have said they appear to be high quality with the fabric wrapped cord and sturdy plastics but I can't really recommend these after what has happened. I did use them daily but take care of my electronics carefully and never had a situation that would have put extra stress on the wire's connection.

FYI: Urbanears uses a straight connection piece as opposed to some that use a 90 degree angle connection...
