I ordered this headset because I need stereo bluetooth to listen to music and audio books on my smartphone. My first stereo bluetooth was Jabra BT3030, which works fine but requires ear buds and a neck chain - and gives you a tangled mess to deal with. Aren't we using bluetooth in the first place so that we don't need cables?

I'm not an audio expert, but in my opinion the sound quality of the BlueFox headset is great. It is fairly easy to use and set up. At first I was worried about how it would fit with my glasses, but it works out just fine. Put your glasses on first, then use both hands to put the headset on from behind, over your glasses. I suppose I have a large head since one-size-fits-all hats are always too small for me, but this headset is fitting fine.

The only reason I am giving this headset 4 stars is because it is single point - you can't switch between devices such as mobile phone and computer without re-pairing. Multi-point capability would have been nice.

If you use iGo tips, it also appears that there is no iGo tip that fits this headset....

First of all, I regard myself as a non sensitive person for sound qualities. Yes, I do have 5.1 channel home theater system but not a high-end one, but more of standard one(Sony HTSS360 5.1 channel Home Theater System (Black), about 2-300 dollars and it's not expensive in this category) and I'm fine with that.

As soon as I got this Bluetooth headset and fully charging it, I paired with my iPhone3G. The first thing I tried was playing a music. I heard for about 5 seconds and already disappointed with its quality. I've tried all possible EQs in iPhone options but couldn't find the one I can satisfy. Moreover, when I put my iPhone in my pocket in the pants, it disconnected frequently. I do understand that Bluetooth signal could be interrupted by objects, but putting the mp3 player into a bag or a pocket is fairly normal environment so I am disappointed.

Then, I tested a phone call quality. So far in three days, I tried on 10 people and ALL of them complained that either they cannot hear my voice clearly or delayed of 1-2 seconds. Within the same call, I switched to use iPhone and they said it's much more clear.

Since this was my first Bluetooth headset, I thought that the issue could be not in this headset but the Bluetooth technology itself. I've read a lot of reviews saying that generally the sound quality on Bluetooth headset is worse than normal wired headsets.

Today, I could find my coworker who is having another Bluetooth headset(Sony DRBT21G/B Stereo Bluetooth Headset) so I thought that this is a good chance to compare those two products. First, we played a movie(the Dark Knight) on iPhone and switched between those two headsets, and you know what? My coworker's headset was a clear win. Not just a win, it was not comparable at all.

Second test was obviously making phone calls. What I tried was calling to my friend using my headset. He said it disconnects frequently and really distant. Within the same call, I switched to iPhone and he said it's much more clear. I hung up the phone and this time I called with Sony's headset to the same person. I didn't mention to him that I'm testing something or I'm using another headset. For a minute, I talked as normal and he had no problem. I switched to iPhone in the middle of phone call, and he even didn't notice. Later, when I told him that I was using another headset, he was surprised and said he didn't notice any difference in the call.

I'm not trying to say that buy Sony's one instead of this, but just disappointed with its quality. Not just disappointed, but it doesn't function as expected(phone calls) so it's more that disappointment. I'm returning the product and ordering a different model. I hope this review helps others choosing the right one for them....
