I broke my pair of Philips Noise Canceling headphones (SBC HN110), which I was generally very happy with. On paper, these should have been better. However, the noise cancellation is not nearly as good. I'm giving them to my uncle, who travels a lot, and buying Philips' new version of those headphones (SHN9500). I will say, however, that these are more comfortable to wear and less bulky than my old Philips pair. If you're looking for a relatively low priced and compact pair of noise canceling headphones, these will do all right. The noise reproduction is decent and has good base....

I've used the Bose Quiet Comforts before and hold them to a standard of sound-canceling; I'll start by saying these come nowhere near close. But the do take the edge off the drum of aircraft engines, enough that a flight will be comfortable. I use these headphones with everything now, as their sound reproduction is alright. You'll want to turn on the noise-canceling as often as possible, because it also adds more bass to the audio, similar to Skullcandy's. I also use rechargeable AAA's since the power switch is easy to turn on by accident, draining it without notice. Eneloops will last for a few days with noise-canceling always on. For it's price, it's a good deal....

OK I bought these because i have bought Sony headphones before , the little in the ear type, and they sound great with good bass and pretty loud and all ofr 20 dollars so I got these thinking i was buying something more expensive therefore must be of better quality, but these things are a joke, my grandmother snores louder then these things sound, music quality is awful if your someone who like to listen to music and or movies nice and loud these are not for you this is for listening to tapes at the library....
