Already owning one for myself I have constantly enjoyed how light weight this ear piece is and nobody complains they can't hear me. I have plenty of volume to hear them and the updates and customizability of its OS is great. Well worth the purchase....

It has very nice shape and color.

The sound quality is Good.

Noise assassin is Excellent.

Battery life is poor.

Website support is Very Good.

Comfort is Accepted....

I work construction and my time is divided between the office, driving and the job-site. I'd been using a Blueant Z9i for a couple of years with medium satisfaction(but that's another story)and needed a new one when the warranty expired. Did a lot of research and finally selected the Icon. I make/get dozens of calls a day and rely on a bluetooth both because of the law (while driving) and because I often need my hands free.

I must have weird shaped ear openings because I've been unable to get any of the different earbuds/gels to work and stay in securely, even with the hook attachment. Every time I make/get a call, I check the orientation of the unit and it is sticking out sideways like the old fashioned car turn signals and I have to rotate it back to be close to my cheek! I've tried it in both ears, with all the different combinations of buds and hook and it still ends up either sticking out sideways or falling out. (thank goodness for the hook or it would have ended up on the ground a few times). I've seen recommendations for the Jabra eargel add-on, but something in me rebels at having to pay yet more for something made by another company to make this not-inexpensive unit functional...

On the Big Island, Hawaii, we don't have many different quality bluetooth options available retail so I'm not able to go buy one then take it back if it doesn't work and try a different one.I've had this one for a week and will give it another week before I order a Blueant T1 then send this one back....

I'm using this with a Verizon G'z One Rock phone and have been unable to get the voice functions to work correctly even though I did synch the Icon on the Jawbone site and believe that I followed all the instructions for pairing....
