Handle Calls with a Simple Flip The H17txt features RapidConnect, a unique feature that lets you answer calls with a simple flip switch. Flip open to answer, flip closed to disconnect--it's that easy. CrystalTalk Dual Mics for Call Clarity To ensure crisp call quality in even the loudest environments, the H17txt uses CrystalTalk, Motorola's proprietary noise-cancellation technology. Utilizing dual external microphones, CrystalTalk adjusts audio settings based on ambient noise levels. It enhances your voice and dampens microphone feedback to push call clarity to a whole new level. Convertible Wearing Style Provides Maximum Comfort Multiple ear hooks and gels are included, so you can customize your wearing style--whether you prefer in-ear or on-ear listening. This unique convertible design means you can wear this headset just the way you like. For example, if you wear glasses, you may prefer taking the ear hook off and using just an ear gel. MotoSpeak App Lets You Listen to Text Messages With the MotoSpeak app, you can get texts and senders' names read to you through your headset. In addition, you can customize an automatic response, so you can let senders know you will reply later if you are driving. Simply download the free MotoSpeak application to any Android-powered or RIM (4.5+ version) device. Stream Audio with A2DP H17txt now has the A2DP profile, which allows you to listen to streaming media, music, video, games, and navigation through your headset. Connect to Two Bluetooth-Enabled Devices The H17txt also features full MultiPoint technology, which allows you to simultaneously sync and receive calls from two Bluetooth-enabled devices. This means that if you have separate phones for your business and personal life, you can toggle between calls from the same headset. EDIT ************ The H17 gets a FIVE STAR rating, but the Motospeak app gets a four star at the moment (until a newer version fixes a few problems)***************
This headset does a lot, plus a lot more. Let's start off with the basics before jumping into the Motospeak App.
The H17txt is a lightweight, attractive, and comfortable Bluetooth headset. Phone calls come through clearly, with no reported dropped connections while using it.
The advertised "mini noise cancellation" works, but not like the many noise cancelling headphones. It certainly helps tremendously when trying to hear a phone call where the recipient's reception is bad on top of you being in bad wea...
