Controlling Phone calls
Press the button once to take a call. During the phone conversation press button once to mute, press again to resume. Press button for 2 seconds to end the call.
Controlling the Music
While listening to music clicking the button once will pause/resume the music.
Toggle between music/phone
If you get a call while listening to music just press the button once to take the call, it will automatically pause the music, when done with the call press again and it will resume where it ended.

The physical product itself was good. The product arrived in a timely fashion and it worked but I didnt like it. The ear bud cord is longer for 1 ear than the other. This caused the short cord to get caught on jelwery & clothing & the long cord would get caught on everything else, making the call experience frustrating. I understand the manufacturer thought they were making an improvement but I prefer for both cords to be the same length, giving me the freedom to adjust them as needed.
My husband ended up breaking his & mine because the long cord often got caught on several things. What we truly need are bluetooths....
