So I haven't listened to these in a little. I've been using my KOss KSC75's. I was on my lap top and pulled these out of my drawerer. Working on a small project for a computer class I continued my work and foudn my self pausing shortly there after to appritiate the bass I was recieving through these. The bass hit nicely, smooth, but very noticable in a good way. I changed tracks from a postive vibed Hip-Hop made by Urban Market to Sublime Santeria. The opening was amazing. The strings being plucked came through so clear, I could feel the vidration from this mid sounding tone. It felt like I was inches away from the intrument. The drums kick in with a nice level of bass, enough to leave me fully aware it is a drum, and at just the right volume and pitch to sound real. Small chimes in the background are brought out and shin mildly, bet very clean. The highs are smooth and not harsh, the lows as well are smooth, deep, with proper EQ can reproduce great for House, Rap, or Rock. A lot of people say these do not work for rock. I like to say they do just as good. The take some minor Eqing though, as do most monitoring HeadPhones. What I like about these as well is the construction. It is plastic and not that expensive of a set, but the plastic has a rubberish feel. It feels nice (and a secure grip?). The plastic is thick, sturdy, and simple. Cushion is in all the right places. I would of liked real leather for the ear cups, but real leather would of dried out and needed replacement by now, so the pleather is in favor of longivity. I am glad i made this purchase a few years ago, I have gotten a nice awakening from on ear head phones to over ear once again, by the same set....

I had purchased these for my 14yr old son. He absolutely loves them! Haven't had them very long but no issues yet....

I purchased these headphones for my son about 4 months ago. After 4 months of light home use, the audio plug stopped functioning properly, causing intermittent black outs of sound. When we asked for a repair or replacement, we were told that this was "agressive use", for which we would be provided a store credit for half of the retail value of the phones. This is a purported lifetime warranty for their top of the line headphones. These are toys, not headphones. Although they sound decent enough, if you're going to spend $150.00 on headphones, stick with a more reputable company....
