I researched this pair of headphones for a while before I bought them through the Razer store. I needed a decent pair of headphones for music and gaming to replace my busted Bose Triports. So let me break down my review -
Comfort - These headphones really do feel nice. The cloth ear cups are a nice for a few hours of music or gaming, but become pretty itchy after that. They have great breathability, something that my Triports lacked badly. Overall, these are great feeling headphones that won't make your ears all sweaty and gross.
Durability - These headphones are made of plastic, so don't expect to be able to throw them against the ground after you get killed in MW2. I personally don't take them anywhere outside my condo, so I don't really need to worry about breaking them while listening to my iPod on the street. Overall, these aren't a pair of headphones that can take a lot of damage.
Sound Quality - I was very surprised about the sound quality of these headphones. My Bose Triports had amazing bass and mids, both of which were comparable to the Orcas. The sounds in games are very well produced. I play MW2 on my PS3 and I can hear where people are coming from know where to cut them off. Overall I was very happy with the audio capabilities.
Noise cancellation - Very poor noise reduction. I was listening to music on my computer while the TV set was on. Needless to say, my song didn't mix too well with Maury saying "You are the father." The TV doesn't have to be loud to throw off the sound and ambiance of the music or game, so I would recommend turning off all other distractions before gaming it up.
Appearance - You see how bright they are in the picture? Well they are even brighter in person. I personally like the look, but I can see how more conservative people would stray away from the neon lime look. The two ear cup adjusters are pretty tacky looking on the sides, but not too big of a deal there.
Overall: I would get these headphones if you are interested in a good pair for music and computer games. I would stay away from them if you listen to your iPod in the city (unless you want to hear police sirens mixing with Lady Gaga) or dislike the look of lime green. I give them a 4/5 as a replacement to my Bose Triports....

EDIT: on 4/21/2011, i tugged a bit too hard (really hard) on the cord, and now they only work if i pull the cord to one side. also, i have to bump these down to 4 stars...not because of my stupidity, but because they seem to be wearing out where the plastic bends (when you put them on and take them off) and i dont see these lasting more than maybe a year and a half under heavy use. these are still very good for the price, but im beginning to question the durability.
OK, first off i got these for just over $47 thanks to buy.com. That being said, they are still worth the $60 MSRP. In the gorgeous box you get the headphones, a 3.5mm extension cable, some papers, and a big green Razer sticker.
REVIEW:
Let's start with the color...they are BLINDING green, and I couldn't be happier. I've decided to call the color "radioactive green" and I know that some people like subtle, but those same people tend to keep away from a company named Razer. Next is the feel. They are hands down the lightest full sized headphones I've ever come across. I also own a G35 headset (for gaming and stay-at-home stuff) and it weighs much more. Some people might think that the plastic construction that makes them this light would make them breakable, but I was surprised at how solid they felt coming out of the packaging. The ear cups are an amazingly soft fabric as is the headrest. All together, this makes the Orcas incredibly comfortable, far surpassing the G35s. Now onto the sound...these headphones are only $60 MSRP, so I didn't expect them to come near any of the higher priced Sennheiser or Grado headphones I've heard before, but they are great at only $60. My G35 headset (which I got for $75) does sound slightly better and has a tad more bass thanks to slightly better drivers, but it retails for twice the price of the Orcas. Lastly are the littler things...these are based off of the Carcharias headset so they are not meant to be super noise cancelling, and I wouldn't want them to be. I like being able to pause my music and hear what is going on around me. Also, the braided fiber cable is excellent. It is probably half the diameter of the G35 cable but is still strong because of the braiding. Overall, they are a great deal at $60, even better at less than $50....

After buying this and buying the leatherette ear cushions from razerstore.com, there's absolutely nothing bad I can say about these headphones. Of course, except for the fact that I needed to buy separate $15 ear cushions for proper noise cancellation. The noise cancellation on the default cushions is absolutely horrid. The bass is also heightened from the ear cushions. Anyway,...
