These noise-canceling in-ear headphones by Skullcandy give excellent sound quality. They have soft silicone ear cushions to help filter out noise, while enhanced bass gives music depth and clarity. With a long cord for flexibility, these are a great fit for any MP3 player.

The Skullcandy Dubs are inexpensive earbuds. They do well enough with the lower frequencies but it is hard to pick out the higher frequencies and the sound is not very clear so they are okay in noisy environments but not so good for quiet listening at home.

The silicone tips are very comfortable, sit securely in the ear, and do a great job at blocking outside noise. The cord is reinforced at the split but the plug is straight instead of angled. My biggest peeve--other than the quality of the sound--is that the "R" and "L" markings are almost impossible to see so I dabbed a little fingernail polish on the right earbud to differentiate them.

Overall, these are three stars--they're okay for the beach where they might get lost or destroyed or for when it is very noisy, such as on airplanes, or for children....

[I wrote this review for the Ink'd. It applies here, too] I've done a side-by-side on the Ink'd and Dub. I use Dub extensively. It's great! I'm very pleased and impressed. Full frequency response through the entire range. Accurate, crisp (not tinny) highs and solid (not boomy) lows. The Ink'd, by comparison, is not even close. Probably a little better than others in the same price range, but very inferior to the less expensive Dub. Of course, the rubber in-ear fit makes all the difference. I quickly found the Dub sweet spot. I played around with finding the right fit on the Ink'd. Never happened. Maybe my ears just aren't right for the Ink'd fit. I sure did try to get the right fit. I wanted to hear what all the hype is about Ink'd. I do acknowledge the Ink'd is more solidly constructed. Good for boarding, not for quality sound. Skip the Ink'd hype. Go for the Dub....

i bought 2 of these and the left ear on both of them broke within a few weeks i started using them. i must say the sound quality is not bad at all for the price, but these probably won't last you a month before breaking....
