The clicking sounds of the keyboard, talking from your office neighbor and the pestering sound of the treadmill will longer annoy, with the Q:Electronics Noise Isolating Ear Buds. These Ear buds provide a stylish seal that is sure to fit perfectly inside your ear, enabling you to do your various activities whether it is exercising, working or even rocking out while doing work around the house. When I got a new MP3 player about a year ago, I started using the in-ear headphones that came with it. They were terribly uncomfortable and, after half an hour or so, my ears would start to ache. This is why I always thought I needed to big, wrap-around kind of headphone.

I bought the Q:Electronics ear buds and it is like night and day! They are very comfortable, and do an excellent job of noise isolation. I've seen similar ear buds for cheaper on deal-a-day sites and such, but all I can say is I don't regret my purchase from Amazon.

A quick comment on the two other reviews available at this time: first, these do not CANCEL noise, they ISOLATE. What that means is they don't actively try to delete other sounds, like some higher-end headphones do. What noise isolation headphones do is sort of seal off your ear (the suction that the second reviewer mentioned) - this muffles out any other sound you would hear, so it isolates the sound coming from the headphones [it's much more comfortable than it sounds... think of having your head underwater]. Naturally, this makes the headphones sound really loud, so you should just turn down the volume on whatever you're listening to....

I tend to buy cheap buds since I listen to mp3's when I'm working(construction, yardwork, cleaning),so I have low expectations and am looking for something that will last for a few months of constant use. I used to buy more expensive buds to have them damaged and that really made no sense.

These chrome buds have a nice look and feel. They are comfortable and are fairly small and comfy -- Sometime's I'll fall asleep listening to mp3's but you cannot lie you head on a pillow and not feel these... they are small but still bigger than the lowest profile buds. They come with the normal range of silicone inserts and noice isolation is only based on sealing the ear canal passively, not active reduction technology

Audio quality is acceptable with a decent midrange. There's nothing stellar about the highs or the lows -- but you get what you pay for. Listening to talk radio, audiobooks, etc - these are perfect value and sound. You wouldn't be able to run in these without hearing the 'wire noise' of the wire material rubbing against things.. but that's also to be expected in cheap buds.

I've used this set for about a month now and they aren't showing any wear yet, which is nice. At this point I'll definitely invest in these again and can recommend them....

I recently went on a trip and took these "Noise Isolating Ear Buds" with me. I was actually suprised that an item this inexpensive works so well. They fit right in my ear, they are nice.

The only negative i see about them is that if you push them in your ear too hard they will suction to your ear and they can become a bit loud. They do pull out easily though so i guess it was my fault.

Great Quality, Great Sound, Great Price, Great Overall!...
