Controlling Phone calls
Press the button once to take a call. During the phone conversation press button once to mute, press again to resume. Press button for 2 seconds to end the call.
Controlling the Music
While listening to music clicking the button once will pause/resume the music.
Toggle between music/phone
If you get a call while listening to music just press the button once to take the call, it will automatically pause the music, when done with the call press again and it will resume where it ended.

I purchased these headphones because I am often listening to music and then get a call. They are very clear, the people on the other end can hear me very well and there are only 2 things I did not like about them. one side of the headphones is shorter than the other, so you have to put one cord behind your neck or drape it in front of you, but then that gives you an awkward uneven sensation, I prefer to have both ear buds on the same length cord. Also, the min. vol. for the music is actually quite loud. But overall it works well with my droid and I would recommend it....

This item generally works like it should. However, the squared-off construction of the strain relief on the plug has caused the wire to break after only 4 months of light use.
Also, the two product photos are not of the same model. This product is the one with the more rounded microphone bead and the black ear cushions....
